Meatsack Computers
01:33
|
|||
Fleshborn computers with thinking disorders
with desires of seeing a nation out of order
no software included for the glitches are excluded from a mainframe of its own constructed spacetime
their vision seeing only ones and zeros
believing whatever truths fed to its central nervous breakdown
in an endless stream of bits and bytes
an endless collection of mismanaged minds
minds broken, seeing shadows as light
but our truths are false declarations of a nation in rejection of the lies
they feed off of attention from perceived interventions of a reality that is the sum of all their shame
our collation of information submits to the dilation of time
its enough to make me stay awake at night thinking of the many ways I could die the next.
with a meatsack of computing capability
stacked with a depressed aggression with a tenacity for philosophy.
It’s a wonder why I even try
I sincerely fear the sins of our technology and ability to set beliefs of falsehoods based solely of beliefs

Property over People
03:43
|
|||
Out on the beat rolling the streets trying to find some good to do, why cant my friends be like me
Killing and spilling the blood of innocents as if they were not as human beings
the spectra of their reflection as if an affliction of a social disease
a call to a blue sign in the distance asking to prevent a pilfered leg
and i arrive to find a man worn from days of starvation whose only solicitation was to be fed
the white collared blue sign, with their multiple dollars earned
demands for time served on the pennies that were lost
with the pennies requested and a helping hand
I sealed a fate that only an evil man should meet
Pals will be pals but to reject the will of the powerful would mark me as outcast
stripping me of my shield and power to help
the needs of the many in refusal of the few
the honorable oath was a shamble of what I thought once was
demanding my loyalty to property over people to sell out to the mighty One
and now I find myself once again in the company of the blue starry sign
With not a leg to pilfer in sight I fear my own end,
it just goes to show giving hope is treated as a sin

Vessel to the Void
02:05
|
|||
born as a vessel, our minds not yet shaped
evolving as the earth as individuals
riding amongst the stars to a further stage
of life and love and our eventual old age
though we may not want to hear about or think
that once we reach our final destination
we give ourselves back to the universe
our minds no longer aware of their old links
but fret not as we seed the source of life
our molecules and nutrients that give up their old light
heed this word of warning as i’d like to keep this trend
of giving from one generation to next
we can seed the source of life, or contribute to its death
its not as hard as one would like to think
we have to stop ourselves
i’d like to think we all just get the point
but we all just care for ourselves
let’s delve into ourselves to find our faint sense of regret.

oooooh ooooh ooooh ooooooh

Labyrinth
01:21
|
|||
Racing toward a finish that's not defined
Sick to death of empty promises, screaming
“fuck it they got theirs and i need mine”
And We all walk through this shitty labyrinth
And none of us have seen our true smiles since
Our dreams..
But to give up is a mother fucking cop out
Moving forward is the only way to escape
Some of us may choose shortcuts..
Or just sit and wait for death..
But I choose to keep walking
My discouraging deficiency of positive mentality
Wont drain me of my ability
to subsist on a diet of humility and pain
and sometimes i wish i could end it all
But my conscience always comes and lends me its one great truth..
My fear of death outweighs my desire to die

Zachariah Covington Oklahoma City, Oklahoma
I have been playing music since i was a child, starting out on the family piano when i was around 7. throughout the years i
have made it a goal to learn as many instruments as i can, mainly stringed and fretted instruments.
Math rock is my favorite genre to play, but in an attempt to branch out i created this band camp to create different kinds of music. I hope you enjoy!
